What is a Board and Train?

A Board and Train is where your dog goes to stay with the trainer in their home for 1-3 weeks, and has training throughout the day each day.

Board and Train is a great option for dogs and puppies that need to learn or refine basic skills such as leash walking, recall, polite greetings, leave it / drop it, go to mat, or hanging out in public; and dogs that could use some socialization time out of the house. It can be appropriate for dogs with mild leash reactivity.

It is not appropriate for dogs that have significant leash reactivity, aggression towards other dogs or people, separation anxiety, or extreme fearfulness.

You’ll receive updates throughout the stay as well as a in-person and written wrap up with notes on what has been accomplished and what to work on moving forward.
