Behavior Modification

Credentialed, skilled, and compassionate support for lasting change of unwanted behavior.

With experience, certifications, and a science-based approach, I help dogs overcome concerns such as fear, aggression, or anxiety - Using force-free methods that prioritize your dog’s emotional wellbeing. Together we address the WHY behind the behavior - not just the behavior itself.

Support for aggressive, reactive, fearful, anxious, or overstimulated dogs.

Behavior modification changes unwanted behavior through management, training alternative responses, and shifting your dog’s emotional state.

Each plan is customized to your dog’s needs.

What to Expect:

Click here to contact me and schedule an Initial Consultation (or ask questions!).

Currently, all Initial Behavior Consultations are being held virtually. Remote dog training might feel a little different, but it works. In fact, it’s often more effective because your dog is learning in their real environment, without the “trainer effect” (when behavior changes just because someone new is present). It also saves time, money, and no one has to deal with a stranger in their home (you or your dog). And here’s the key: dog training isn’t about me working your dog—it’s about teaching you how to live and work with your dog. You’ll get a clear, customized plan, step-by-step guidance, and ongoing support.

Once scheduled, you’ll receive a link to confirm your appointment, complete intake forms, and pay a deposit. During our approximately 90 minute session we’ll review your dog’s history, discuss your goals, and create a customized training, management, and enrichment plan.

You’ll get a written training plan, notes, helpful handouts, along with homework to support your dog’s progress. You’ll also have two weeks of email support after the session (or until your next appointment, if scheduled).

Follow up sessions are recommended and focus on reviewing progress, troubleshooting, and building new skills, and can be held virtually or in-person.

Visit the Private Lessons page for details about lessons, including fees.
