Science based training for real life.

Why train with me?

As a Certified Family Dog Mediator and Certified Professional Dog Trainer, I specialize in helping dogs and their people build strong, healthy relationships. My goal is to support you in raising a happy, well-behaved dog - and enjoying the companionship that comes with it.

What I focus on:
Teaching you how to help your dog thrive in our modern human world.

Understanding your dogโ€™s needs to address behavior concerns at the root.

Building clear, effective communication between you and your dog.

All of this is done using reward-based, humane training - never with pain, fear, or intimidation.

Iโ€™m deeply passionate about helping dogs and their humans live happier, more connected lives. That means building mutual understanding, learning to communicate clearly, meeting each otherโ€™s needs, and working through unwanted behaviors together - with kindness and compassion.

Did you know?

The dog training industry is unregulated - meaning anyone can call themselves a dog trainer, with no required education, certification, or experience.

I believe dogs & owners deserve better.

That is why Iโ€™ve invested in both formal education and multiple professional certifications.

My Credentials:

I am a graduate of the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Dog Trainers. Iโ€™m certified by the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT) and am an Accredited Dog Trainer with the International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants (IAABC).

In 2022, I completed the Aggression in Dogs Master Course

In 2023, I completed the LEGS Applied Ethology Family Dog Mediation Course.

In 2024, I became a Certified Nose Work Instructor.

Also as of 2024, I am a Certified Separation Anxiety Pro Behavior Consultant.

Why credentials matter:

Both the CCPDT and IAABC require hands-on experience, passing an exam, and ongoing continued education (at least 12 hours per year). This ensures I stay current on the latest science in dog behavior and training.

Dog training is a science, not guesswork - and Iโ€™m committed to using evidence-based, humane methods to help dogs and their people succeed.
